My name is Ilenia, and Matriosca Suites is not just a place to stay:

It's a family story enclosed in a house.
A house that served as a cradle for my grandmother's memories, became a refuge for my mother, and also welcomed my childhood and that of my brother.

The name Matriosca is not a coincidence. Like the famous Russian dolls that guard, one inside the other, the past generations, this house also contains many lives, memories and love passed down over time.
The great Matriosca was my grandmother: strong, welcoming, silently present. She is the deepest heart of this place, the first nucleus, the shell that protected everything that today I try to honor and share.

I built Matriosca Suites to bring to light those simple but precious values: attention to detail, the importance of true hospitality, the beauty of feeling at home even when away from home.

Over the years I have broadened my horizons, starting a short-term rental company and managing other facilities, but this B&B remains my soul, my roots.
Here I continue to put my soul into it, to personally choose every flower on the table, every perfume in the rooms, every piece of advice I leave to guests to help them discover the best of the neighborhood and the surrounding area. Because this place wasn't born to be just beautiful: it was born to be alive.
